What is Nougat Anyway?...

Look what I found when I bit into a Snickers today!...

First of all, I don't even know what "Nougat" is anyway!

I mean, who names a candy ingredient "nougat"?

"Nougat" is the sound I make when
I eat too much candy!




But then for it to be GREEN???????

So I checked the wrapper
and this is what I discovered...



My candybar was actually part of a movie marketing tie-in scheme featuring the lovable green film character, "Shrek"!!

Now, not only do I have to deal with the idea of my "nougat" being green,
but I also have to try to wrap my brain around
the possible existence
of something I suppose would be called...






"Ogre-Nougat"



Think about that..."ogre-nougat"...just say it to yourself several times...go ahead...say it out loud and see if it is appetizing in any way!
I don't think so!

So the next time you take a break from work and go looking for an pleasant, energizing snack ... don't forget that you just might find yourself...
